Megan Roy is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in Polyvagal Informed Therapy – a nervous system approach centering regulation, psychoeducation and trauma-informed healing. Megan has years of experience working with teens and young adults while supporting their family in understanding the complex impacts of trauma, entrenched behavior patterns and relational ruptures. Megan’s rich clinical experience also includes working in the dual systems of school and mental health, offering her a keen understanding of the challenges teens and young adults face today.

 

Megan is trained in DBT through the DBT Institute, Polyvagal Informed Therapy through the Cape Cod Institute and CAMS-Care Suicide Prevention and Assessment. All of her education, experience and training together has allowed her to create a cohesive therapeutic experience for her clients which is both insightful and actionable. 

 

Outside of professional hours, Megan enjoys reading, checking out new places to eat, hanging around coffee shops and running along the beach.
