Rooted in Structure. With a maximum census of 9 young adults of all genders, our Apartment Living Program is a more intimate and community-driven experience. Clients commit to the program in three-month increments, maintaining their momentum while building the confidence and skills needed to thrive on their own. Participants live in thoughtfully furnished apartments in downtown Portland and attend daily programming at our new Danforth Street office space just a few blocks away.   The Same Cornerstones Framework in a New Setting ## What’s Included in the Apartment Living Program Though clients no longer live with on-site staff, they remain immersed in the full therapeutic model that makes Cornerstones effective. ### Therapy & Clinical Services Individual Therapy: Twice a week One in-person session One virtual session Family Therapy: Weekly, virtual Group Therapy: Three times a week, in-office ### Life Skills Coaching One-on-one Coaching: Weekly, in-person Daily Individual Check-ins Intentions Group: Every morning, in-office Culinary Group: Weekly evening session on Thursdays In-House Check-In: Once a week with Life Skills staff   ![25-CRN-0206-Website106-1](https://cornerstonesofmaine.com/hs-fs/hubfs/25-CRN-0206-Website106-1.png?width=733&height=800&name=25-CRN-0206-Website106-1.png) ## Program Schedule Participants are expected to attend daily in-office programming from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, which includes: - Intentions group - Check-ins with clinical and life skills staff - Group therapy sessions **Staff visit the apartments once per week to complete:** - Medication counts - Apartment walkthroughs - Additional in-person check-ins ## Real-World Living. Real-Time Support. This next phase of treatment is not just about living on your own—it’s about learning how to do life with structure, accountability, and confidence. The Apartment Living Program gives young adults the freedom to apply what they’ve learned while still being surrounded by therapeutic support and consistent care. It’s a natural evolution for clients who are ready to test their independence, deepen their self-awareness, and prepare for long-term success outside of treatment.
