Cornerstones is excited to announce that two of our clinical staff, Gwen Tuttle, MSW, LCSW and Dr. Eric Beaudoin will be presenting at the annual conference of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs in February of 2023. Eric (Cornerstones’ Clinical Director) and Gwen (Cornerstones’ Clinical Coordinator) will be presenting on the topic of the use of therapeutic confrontation in residential settings. In their presentation, they will contend that confrontational interventions, when conducted in an intentionally therapeutic manner, are crucial to helping young adults recognize and address the behavioral patterns that they have developed to avoid life’s challenges.
