Three Steps to Change

Three Steps to Change

We know that reaching out can feel overwhelming, so we make the process simple, transparent, and free of any pressure. Here’s what to expect:

  • Initial Consultation: Let’s schedule a brief call to help us understand your situation, answer your questions, and see if Cornerstones is a good fit.
  • Assessment & Planning: If our program seems like the right match, we’ll schedule a more in-depth discussion to go over individual needs, goals, and next steps.
  • Enrollment & Transition: If you decide to move forward, we’ll work with you to create a seamless transition plan, whether that means immediate placement or a future start date.

FAQs

How long is the program?

Each young adult’s journey is unique. Our program is designed to offer support at various levels of care, with flexible timelines tailored to individual progress. The average length of stay in the Residential Treatment Center is 45 days, the Transitional Living Program lasts between 6 to 12 months, and Aftercare ranges from 3 to 6 months. However, the duration of each phase is based on personal goals and needs.

Do you accept insurance?

Our Residential Treatment Center accepts out-of-network insurance. The Transitional Living Program and Aftercare are private-pay programs, meaning we do not directly accept insurance. However, most families are able to seek reimbursement for specific services through their provider. Our team is happy to discuss financial options and provide documentation for reimbursement inquiries.

Can I visit the program before enrolling?

Absolutely! We encourage virtual or in-person tours of our residences. Contact us to schedule a visit and learn more about what makes Cornerstones unique.

Do you offer aftercare?

Yes! Transitioning out of structured care can be challenging, which is why we offer step-down support through our Touchstone aftercare program. This includes continued coaching, mentorship, and connection to our alumni community.

Is this program right for my child?

If your young adult is struggling, unmotivated, or feeling stuck and uncertain about the future, Cornerstones might be the right place. The best way to know for sure is to schedule a consultation with us.
