Zeus completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Psychology and Spanish. After graduation, he focused his professional work on working with individuals who struggle with mental health and substance use disorders. Initially, he worked as a psychiatric care technician at a forensic psychiatric institute in Madison, Wisconsin. He later moved to Maine to study classical Chinese Philosophy and Psychology, eventually deciding to pursue an MSW at the University of Maine. While completing his masters, Zeus benefitted from diverse training opportunities at homeless shelters, substance abuse programs, and outpatient psychotherapy centers. Zeus was also accepted into the Professional Opiate Workforce Response (POWR) Selective Social Work Program; which recruits talented Social Work students into an integrated behavioral health training program.
Zeus has an appreciation for multiple conceptual approaches to psychotherapy with special appreciation for the Jungian perspective.
Zeus is a nature-lover, concerned for our planet, enjoys exercise (running, lifting, soccer), loves art, and takes great pleasure in reading, writing, and traveling.
